Development Branson Landing in Branson Missouri
If you are wondering what $420 in development can do for your city, checkout Branson Landing in Branson, Missouri. Modeled after the famous San Antonio Boardwalk, The Branson Landing will definitely help in increasing the 7.3 million visitors to Branson.
The 95 acre 1.5 mile, $420 million dollar development along Lake Tanneycomo features 100 stores, restaurants, night spots, a Welk department store, a Bass Pro, a boardwalk and a huge water fountain with fireballs choreographed to music.
This past week I had spent time at the Branson Land on three different days. Although the crowd was huge, It never felt too crowded. The restaurants we ate at were great including Pitroz’z which is a must eat pizza bistro. We had several meals in the area and during one meal, two planes landed on the water. It was fun for the kids to watch.
You can also take a trolley through the shopping area, a horse drawn trolley around the shopping or my favorite, a duck down the lake. The Ducks are awesome and alot of fun. The Captain really entertained us and he let all the kids drive the duck. In the near future a dock will be added and a cruise ship and a paddle ship will be added.
A real estate agent I visited with said that the condos along the board walk started off at selling for $225,000. Now they are selling in the mid 300’s to upper 400’s on average in less than a year. A convention center is expected to open in a couple months and the area is expected to add 1.5 million more visitors to the Branson area next year. If gas prices stay up, there could be 9-11 million visitors to Branson in the next 12 months.
This is a must see area of Branson. Wait until September of this year. The docks and convention center should be up an running. A cruise down the lake during the fall should be real enjoyable.
