Would You Pay the Same Price for a Commercial on the History Channel as You Would on the Super Bowl?
Then why would you choose an Inexperienced Realtor over an Internet Savvy Realtor?
So you want to sell your home and you are trying to choose a Realtor. A few years ago, I would recommend asking for a referral from a friend or family member. Most people know a few Realtors. Times have changed though. With all of the corporate lay offs, many people think it is easy money getting into real estate. When it was a sellers market all a Realtor had to do was put a sign in the yard, place the listing in the Multiple Listing Service, place a couple newspaper ads or homes magazine ads and make sure the home was priced right. In some cases, overpriced homes even sold. Today though, times have changed. According to the National Association of Realtors, 87% of all home buyers first go to the internet. That means if you don’t choose the right Realtor, you’ll loose valuable buyer prospects. Choose an internet savvy Realtor wisely or your home maybe one of the homes that sells way below list price, go through many price reductions or might not even sell. I’ll explain what to look for in choosing an internet savvy Realtor.
The first step in choosing an internet savvy Realtor is use Google Search. To do a Google search input your city plus state plus real estate in the search bar. An example would be Olathe Kansas Real Estate. After you sort through the directories and real estate search tools, you’ll find the top internet savvy Realtor websites. Within the first 3 pages you’ll probably find 10 internet savvy Realtor websites.
