What has happended to Home Values in Kansas City?

The National Association of Realtors reported last week that the national median home values of pre-owned homes in fell 1.8% in 2007. The national median home value was $217,000, the first decline in the national median home value since the National Association of Realtors started tracking the figure back in 1968.

Locally, I calculated median home values. I did see a drop but there were still many areas such as Johnson County that saw a slight increase.

If you are looking to sell your home, The Dowell Taggart Team would be happy to calculate your home's value. Most of the Johnson County zip codes saw slight increases rather then the national average of decreases. I will be reporting the median home value stats in latter post.
