What a wild and crazy day today. The weather has turned sourand nearly half the family will be departing for some kind of adventure for thenight.
First, my day started with a reporter from Texasasking me about some individuals involved in bank issues in Olathe, Kansas. He was doing a news story about regulators investigating the Olathe, Kansasbank. Later in the day, I received a phone call from a reporter in Chicago. I wasn't able totalk to him when he called because I was showing homes so we decided to set a 3:30phone appointment. Before the 3:30 appointment approached, I received a commenton my blog from a New York Post writer who was surprised that the reporters in Kansas City were not reporting the banking issue in Olathe. He told me thatthe New York Post has inquired about articles they have written. I guess he wasdoing more research for the Post. The New York Post reporter also writes for HousingWire.com. The article he wrote yesterday can be found at: http://www.housingwire.com/2009/02/20/in-the-crosshairs-security-savings-bank/
Second, my son left to head out to a friend's house for theevening. My wife followed him out the door but headed a different direction. The strange thing was she was heading out to friends with cooking supplies. Whywould my wife be heading to friends to cook? I thought when you go out torelax, you do things you like. She doesn't like cooking, ask anyone who reallyknows her. Sounds kind of fishy, if you ask me . . .
Now the day is really starting. I'm going to head to one ofmy listings and leave some marketing supplies, then head out to entertain mytwo remaining kids. Anyone have any ideas? My son is 12 and my daughter is 3.
