Tour de France Training - I Raced the Easter Bunny and I Won!

As I started my trek outside I was mildly surprised that I was not greeted by a heavy dose of wind and rain. Instead  I was greeted by the hare and like the turtle. I won. We raced around the Johnson County Industrial Airport down to Lake Olathe, past the Great Plains Mall and down Old 56 highway to Gardner. As I expected the Hare had me halfway through the race, but had a burger or two at the Olathe McDonald's and it seemed he was a changed Hare. I past him on Old 56 and took home the victory. My 3 year old daughter had to remind me that he was busy last night and was probably tired.

Probably so, but I can see my training improving.

The rest of the day I'll be celebrating Easter with my family. Hope you have a happy Easter also!

Remember, if you see my on the road on my Trek, don't honk too loud. You might scare me and I'll run into a pothole and I'll miss my chance to be the oldest Tour de France cyclist.
