After the Kansas City Chiefs Loss on Sunday to the Jags, there have been rumors about a coaching change. One of those rumors may not be a rumor.
Last night I heard a rumor about a past Chiefs coach back in Kansas City last week. At first I dismissed it has just that, a rumor. But as rumors gain steam they become more believable. At first I heard the past Chiefs coach at the airport. Then he was down on the plaza, then at Arrowhead and so on and so on. Is it wishful thinking or actual fact. Maybe nobody really knows except Mr. Hunt. It probably isn't improbable for a coach to visit his past team he coached.
Another rumor flying around is Bill Snyder leaving the Kansas State Wildcats and coming to the Kansas City Chiefs. True Bill can probably get 110% out of the players, I just don't think he would leave the Wildcats to coach another team. Besides if you have watched any of the KC Chiefs games or didn't want to waste your time and just watched the replays, you would notice that the KC Chiefs are lacking energy (except the last 2 minutes of Sundays game). I'm not sure a proven coach can work with the players the KC Chiefs have on its roster.
Rumors typically start flying around due to fan frustration. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that there is something missing. Maybe if the KC Chiefs had the heart and desire like my daughter has, they would have more victories. I think she could do better blocking.
