Not ALL Kansas City real estate stats are bad. There are good stats out there. I just had some great stats come through my email from RE/MAX quoting the National Association of REALTORS ( NAR ).
According to NAR's stats, the October Midwest Regional real estate sales were up 14.4% from September and 28.8% from October of 2008.
Also included in the NAR stats:
1) Distressed properties made up 30% of all October sales in the United States.
2) 13% Successful First Time Home Buyers had a previous real estate transaction fail.
