The Unified Government Real Estate Tax Statements recently mailed to Wyandotte County property owners contained a formatting error that combined the tax levies for the public school districts with the tax levy for the Kansas City Kansas Community College.
The school district and community college tax levies should have been listed individually. Instead, both were combined under the single heading, School District. There should have been a heading for School District and another for Community College.
The tax amounts on the statement are correct. The only issue is the way the school district and community college levies were listed.

An individual taxpayer may obtain a corrected statement for their property by contacting the Treasurer's Office at (913) 573-2823
