O.J. Simpson may lose is Florida Luxury Home Estate to Foreclosure - JP Morgan Files Foreclosure
It guess it is hardly surprising that O.J. Simpson is able to make his mortgage payment on his luxury home estate in Florida. Who can when they are making probably less than $10 a week while they serve time in a Nevada jail for robbery and kidnapping.
According to the Associated Press, mortgage holder,JP Morgan, has filed foreclosure documents on the Florida luxury estate home that O.J bought. Miami-Dade Circuit Court documents show the foreclosure notice was filed in September. O.J.'s legal team has filed a motion to dismiss the action, which is pending.
After his 1995 acquittal of the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman, Simpson migrated from Los Angeles to Florida, purchasing the house in 2000 for $575,000. The Kendall-area property in Florida allowed Simpson, now 64, access to the South Florida golf courses.

Father buys Greek Revival-style Mansion for 16 year old daughter - Million Dollar Homes and Estates Belle Nora, the famous 82-year-old white-brick Greek Revival-style mansion at the edge of White Rock Lake, in Eastern Dallas, Texas, has a new owner.
History of Belle NoraThe seller, Dr. Jesus S. Guevara, is a renowned Mexico City surgeon. He bought the estate sight unseen in the mid 1980s for his wife, Joan Simpson, who wanted a home close to her family in Dallas. After his wife's death in 2001, Dr. Guevara began spending most of his time in other homes. So in 2004, Fr. Guevara put Bella Nora mansion on the real estate market for $4.4 million. New Buyer for Belle Nora The new buyer was searching for a gift for his 16 year old daughter, who had tragically lost her mother when she was just 5 months old. Her buyer would drive his daughter past the 82 year old, 6,000-square-foot Greek revival-style mansion, known as Belle Nora, and every time she passed the house, she would tell her Daddy that he should buy it for her. She was joking around, but evidently, she was planting a seed in her father's head because she received the most extravagant sweet 16 birthday present that I've ever heard of.

After four straight years of declines, sales of luxury million-dollar homes and condos rose last year in all 20 major metro areas, according to DataQuick Information Systems.
On average, these cities saw an 18.6% jump in high-end home sales. "Higher income households are feeling better about their financial security," said Greg McBride, chief economist for Bankrate.com. As their confidence soared, the wealthy took advantage of bargains in expensive homes. An average seaside manor on Jupiter Island, Fla., that might have sold for $4 million in 2006 cost less than $3 million last year. The Brentwood bungalow in L.A. was $1.5 million instead of $2 million, and that Scarsdale colonial fell to $1.1 million after going for $1.5 million four years ago. Getting a home loan for these expensive homes was cheaper as well. Normally buyers have to take out a jumbo loan to finance beyond the $417,000 threshold ($729,000 in high-cost cities such as New York). These loans have higher rates because they are considered non-conforming or higher risk and are not backed Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. In 2009 buyers of high-end homes paid 1.8 percentage points more in rate than the average buyer.
