Dental implants are prosthetic teeth which are created by a cosmetic dentist and installed by an dental surgeon. When it comes to regaining full strength and function of the missing tooth, no other method comes close. Whats more remarkable is that they are practically indistinguishable from actual teeth. When compared to their less resilient alternatives, dentures and bridges, dental implants provide a permanent remedy to missing teeth. Candidacy is usually dependent on the probability of your jaw to effectively assimilate with the dental implant.

Five months ago, we bought a vehicle from JDM, and they sold us a "reliably safety certified used vehicle". Within 30 days the vehicle started falling apart! As an update, it's been 5 months since JDM sold us this car, and now the transmission has gone bad, and the car is being sent to the Wrecking Yard!! Here is the list of everything that went wrong with the vehicle within the first three months of purchase: - Two bad solenoids within the first week of purchase - of which JDM charged us to replace one! - Two front flat tires - even though it was advertised that the tires were fairly new winter tires - Driver's Side Door Panel broke off after two months - already had a previous bad glue job - Battery died within a month - had to buy a new battery - Had to replace the Starter after two months - Had to replace the Alternator after three months - Fan belt was too loose because JDM Automotive placed the wrong fan belt on the vehicle when selling it - Driver's side window started getting stuck and would not go up after two months - Rear passenger side window stopped working after a month after purchase - The "like-new" fuel pump was only washed and cleaned to make it look like it was "like-new" - this burned out after two months and had to be replaced. - There was bad wiring all throughout the entire vehicle - rotten wiring - with bad tape up jobs - The Air Filter was never changed and was pumping in toxic fumes. JDM Automotive sold us a vehicle that was poisoning us? - After 5 months, the Transmission has now blown out. Apparently the transmission had been slipping for quite some time. The Fact is- JDM Automotive put together a lemon vehicle and ripped us off for the $3000 that they sold the car for. They sold us a vehicle that they assured that was in great condition. What they did do was put together a junk vehicle with junk parts - and then sold us the absolute garbage that was made to look good! Since our experience with being sold this lemon, we will never again trust ANY mechanic in the Niagara Area. JDM Automotive, you have been a true disappointment to anyone trying to run a legitimate business - and you are a true disappointment to many in the your field. We have gladly spread the word that no one should ever do business with JDM Automotive, and we will ensure that JDM Automotive is cleanly blacklisted everywhere we can. JDM Automotive should not be in business, and we will praise the day that they finally do go out of business. JDM Automotive will just say to you "We didn't know that would happen with that vehicle". That is the lousiest lame excuse one can ever hear from a mechanic. If you ever hear that from your mechanic, run for the hills. JDM Automotive should be put out of business for good. We can only hope that no one else has been hurt by JDM Automotive. We were relying on the car we bought from JDM Automotive - for our business needs, and for the needs of our family - and now because they sold us this heap of garbage, not only are we out $3000, but we are out a vehicle, because we cannot afford another one, and we cannot afford any more repairs on this garbage car that JDM Automotive sold us.

Ford Motor Co., General Motors Co. and other automakers could reap rewards from the steep climb in fuel prices, Reuters reports.
The cost of filling a tank has consumers who own large or older vehicles looking for smaller, more fuel-efficient models — which automakers increasingly are offering, the report says, adding that auto sales rose 16 percent in February. That was the best showing in four years.
Both Ford (NYSE: F) and GM (NYSE: GM) run Kansas City-area assembly plants, and locally produced vehicles helped the automakers to sales gains last month.

NPC International Inc. saw revenue inch up for 2011, but its earnings took a sharp dive, dropping more than 78 percent.
NPC, the largest Pizza Hut franchisee, said the culprits were $26.6 million in transaction expenses, an increase in ingredient costs, and higher general and administrative expenses.
Transaction expenses are associated with NPC’s Dec. 28 sale to a company formed by Olympus Partners, including stock and compensation expense, broker fees and legal expenses. The general and administrative expenses largely went toward unforeseen litigation costs and higher costs to train employees...

Highwoods Properties Inc. has sold the Neptune Apartments on Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza.
The 96-unit apartment complex at 46th Street and Broadway sold to Price Development Group for $11 million.
Highwoods, which owns most of the Plaza, described the Neptune Apartments as a non-core asset and said it would use the proceeds from the sale to pay down debt.
The apartments once were slated to be the site of a future Polsinelli Shughart PC headquarters. A group of Plaza enthusiasts had protested, and the office plan was scuttled...

The flavor will hit stores next week and probably be available into June, depending on the weather and milk production, Robert Shatto said in an email, adding that the company will make about 200 gallons of the new milk each week...

A Florida congressman said Friday that the Federal Aviation Administration’s attempts to relocate one of its training facilities to Kansas City’s Lyric Theatre have stalled.
Rep. John Mica, R-Fla., said language inserted into a new FAA law would allow Palm Coast, the current host city to the FAA’s executive leadership training facility, to bid on retaining the contract to keep the facility and its 100 jobs in the Sunshine State.
“The FAA’s training facility will remain in Palm Coast for the foreseeable future, and due to language included in the new FAA law I introduced in the House, Palm Coast will always get a fair shot at future contracts,” Mica said in a written statement...

The announcement of a second straight year of declining revenue at Husch came with an acknowledgement that 25 partners have been demoted from equity to fixed-income status.

The Kansas City Council has approved rezoning a section of Downtown to allow development of the proposed Main Street streetcar project.
Council members late Thursday unanimously approved three measures that establish a streetcar zone for two blocks on either side of Main Street, the proposed route for a 2.2-mile streetcar line between the River Market and Crown Center. The measures, advanced by a council committee earlier this week, also remove a requirement that private development within the zone provide off-street parking, a move aimed at encouraging use of the streetcar and other public transit...

 Fear not, earthlings.
The solar storm is nigh, but your Garmin Nuvi and other personal navigation devices should work just fine.
The globe kept its eyes on the sky, with scientists expecting the largest solar storm in five years to tumble into the planet on Thursday.
Utility and technology companies were on alert because the magnetic part of the storm had the potential to clash with electrical power grids and GPS units, according to an Associated Press report.
It may sound far-fetched, but BBC News was quick to remind readers that back when many current GPS users were in pigtails — in 1989 — a similar disturbance blacked out 6 million Canadians in Quebec...

“Freezing instead of terminating these plans of course would mean we will have significantly larger pension costs than contemplated in our business plan,” Brundage said in the letter...

Kansas City’s saucy cuisine is getting another shout-out, this time in U.S. News & World Report’s list of the nation’s seven best barbecue cities.
Arthur Bryant’s Barbeque, Oklahoma Joe’s Barbecue and Gates and Sons Bar-B-Q were mentioned in the ranking, which put Kansas City at third, pointing out that the local barbecue style reflects some Memphis, Tenn., characteristics. Husch Blackwell LLP has reclassified 25 of its equity partners as fixed-income partners.
The move essentially is a demotion for the affected lawyers, who will receive most of their pay as a set salary instead of a share of the firm’s profits.

“We continue to be focused on the long-term growth of Husch Blackwell, which includes ensuring that our compensation plan is competitive relative to other firms our size,” he said in the statement...

The risk of dangerous animal diseases accidentally escaping from a proposed federal research lab in Manhattan has shrunk to nominal levels after a series of changes, a new report says.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security on Friday released an updated risk assessment for the National Bio- and Agro-Defense Facility, which is planned for the Kansas State University campus.
The update, which was performed in response to a critical 2010 report from the National Research Council, said the probability of an accidental release of foot-and-mouth disease during the facility’s 50-year life span is 0...

Kansas City’s reputation in technology circles for being a safe, reliable place to run a data center just received another feather in its cap.
And it’s cheap, too.
A site location firm out of Princeton, N.J., ranked Kansas City No. 20 in a study of annual operating costs for a large-scale, enterprise data security center in the nation’s 45 largest regional financial centers. But that ranking somewhat masks Kansas City’s appeal.
Annual operating costs in Kansas City total $12.2 million, according to The Boyd Co...

Johnson County has combined its health and environmental departments into a single Department of Health and Environment in a move expected to save roughly $600,000.
The Johnson County Board of Commissioners approved the merger by a 5-1 vote despite 14 people speaking against the merger at the commission’s Thursday meeting.
“From a management perspective side of the fence, the consolidation makes a lot of organizational sense because of the synergies, efficiencies, potential for shared resources, strong leadership and positive external relationships with stakeholders in both departments,” County Manager Hannes Zacharias said in a release...

The proposed settlement of a class-action lawsuit against Ferrellgas Partners LP has hit a snag, with lawyers trading sharply worded accusations.
The Overland Park company agreed in October to pay as much as $25 million to settle a case claiming it underfilled propane tanks it sells.
Norm Siegel, a partner at Kansas City-based Stueve Siegel Hanson LLP and lead class counsel, says attorneys have swooped in to file frivolous objections against the settlement, seeking to extort cash for them to go away...

The United Auto Workers Local 31 approved a new local contract on Thursday.
The union represents more than 3,400 workers at General Motors Co.’s Fairfax Assembly Plant in Kansas City, Kan.
George Ruiz, president of Local 31, said he was pleased to see the contract approved. He said the production side passed the new contract with 57 percent of the vote, and the skilled trades voted 70 percent in favor.
The approval resolves a standoff that started in January, when workers rejected the local contract and voted 90 percent in favor of authorizing a strike if necessary...
