A billion-dollar price-fixing case is in the hands of seven jurors in federal court in Kansas City, Kan.
The monthlong trial into whether Dow Chemical Co. (NYSE: DOW) conspired with competitors to boost urethane prices concluded Tuesday. Closing arguments in the case were truncated after U.S. District Judge John Lungstrum chastised both sides for speaking too long in their opening statements at the start of trial.
