Town Center Plaza shopping center in Leawood now is owned by Glimcher Realty Trust, according to a Thursday announcement.
The sale, valued at $139 million, involved former owner DDR Corp. (NYSE: DDR) and Glimcher (NYSE: GRT) trading properties in an effort to shift their respective real estate portfolios to more streamlined strategies. They're making payments to each other, but the sales hinged on both deals closing.
