    Portable space heaters caused fires at two Kansas City residences today. Fire Department spokesman Joe Vitale said the first fire occurred just before 7 a.m. at a mobile home in the 1000 block of Northwest Lakeview Drive in Kansas City, North.The space heater either tipped over or was too close to combustible items, Vitale said.
