A gorgeous newly remodeled bathroom.

The bathroom is where you’re supposed to get away from the world to clean up and feel refreshed. But how clean can you possibly feel if your bathroom looks dirtier than you? If your bathroom is dysfunctional and looks like it belongs in the back of a run-down dive bar, maybe it’s time to consider a bathroom remodel.

Stains and Cracks: Over time your bathroom may develop minor problems that go unnoticed every day, but that may be a cover up to something more serious. Stains develop, paint peels, and eventually grout decays. This happens in every bathroom, but it may be caused by an underlying factor. If left untreated mold may grow and water damage becomes more prevalent.

Water Leaks: If you have not replaced your toilet or other bathroom fixtures, leaks are more likely to happen. The leaks could be in the wall or under the floor where you are completely unaware until you see your next utility bill. Trust me, I learned the hard way in this situation. Just be more observant if there is any unusual noise or difference in water pressure from the toilet, shower, or sink.

Moisture and Odors: It may be time to call a bathroom renovation contractor if your bathroom constantly smells and/or feels humid. This is caused by poor ventilation, which leads to excess moisture that lingers in your bathroom. Contact a bathroom renovation company to see what the bathroom remodel cost is before you pull the trigger.

There are many signs that may lead you to believe you need a bathroom renovation. If so, I would leave it to the professionals to make sure the bathroom not only looks great, but is durable and functional for many years to come.
